Stephanie Testa has been promoted to senior vice president of corporate alliances, for Universal’s partnerships and licensing department, the studio announced Tuesday.
Testa, a 10-year veteran of Universal, will continue to report to Universal Partnerships and Licensing Department President Stephanie Sperber
“Stephanie has proved herself integral in securing corporate alliances and brand partnerships that have delivered significant financial support across all divisions of Universal,” Sperber said in a statement. “Her deep understanding of our partners’ needs and ability to deliver on those has made her an invaluable member of our team. This promotion recognizes her many efforts.”
In her new role, Testa will be responsible for development of global brand alliances across Universal’s various divisions, including motion pictures, home entertainment, staged productions and theme parks. In addition to continuing oversight of new business development, Testa will manage relationships with business partner such as American Express, Cartier, Coca-Cola, Clay Lacy Aviation, Dale & Thomas Popcorn, Don Q Rum, Fidelity Investments, GE Money Bank, Gibson Guitars, Nestle Waters, Sharp and Xerox.
Before joining the partnerships and licensing department, Testa served as the vice president of partnership development for Universal Parks & Resorts.
Testa began her career with Universal in 1998 as a brand manager in Universal Parks & Resorts at Universal Orlando.
