“Up and Vanished” host Payne Lindsey has a new true-crime podcast, and TheWrap exclusively has its debut date. We’ve also got the first audio available from the “Atlanta Monster” premiere, which is slated for Jan. 5, 2018.

Yeah, it’s pretty chilling stuff.

With 150 million downloads, Tenderfoot TV’s “Up and Vanished” podcast was Apple’s 18th most-downloaded podcast of 2017. It also actually helped solve a cold-case crime, cracking an 11-year-old missing person’s case and leading to two arrests this year.

“Atlanta Monster” is a bit of a different monster. In that one, which is jointly produced with veteran podcasting company HowStuffWorks, Payne and the team will explore the notorious Atlanta Child Murders of the ’70s and ’80s — yes, that’s the same case Netflix’s “Mindhunter” will dive into during Season 2 and the subject of FX’s new drama “No Place Safe.”

Fans of the original pod have plenty to look forward to from that franchise, too. Tenderfoot has an “Up and Vanished” docuseries in the development at Oxygen, and Season 2 of the podcast is slated for this coming Spring.

Listen to an exclusive clip from the upcoming “Atlanta Monster” premiere below. And then try to sleep tonight.
