Vince Neil has avoided jail time in an assault case against him — but he’ll have to keep his nose clean for a while.

Former Motley Crue yowler Neil reached a plea deal on Wednesday that will keep him out of the pokey, the singer’s attorney told TheWrap.

Neil pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery in exchange for a pass on jail time. However, he’s not quite out of the woods — the singer was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and will be on informal probation for the next six months.

The musician must also undergo counseling for impulse control.

Neil was accused of attacking a woman at the Aria in Las Vegas in April, pulling to the pavement by her hair.

The woman, Kelly Guerrero, has also filed a civil lawsuit against Neil, claiming that she was diagnosed with “back sprain or strain, neck sprain or strain and sacral contusion due to physical assault.”

Guerrero also claims she was later also diagnosed with a fractured coccyx and “a severe left hip injury.”

The lawsuit alleged that Neil has “a long history of self-centered, irresponsible, drunken and violent behavior” and a “penchant for attacking those he apparently perceives as weaker and subservient to him, including women and purported fans of the aging ‘rock star.’”
