CBS Television Distribution has sold Vivica A. Fox talk show “Face the Truth” into syndication for a Fall 2018 launch.
The series will debut on CBS stations in 10 markets, including New York and Los Angeles. The one-hour show will also air on Cox Television, Meredith Corp., Graham Media Group, Hearst Television and Weigel Broadcasting stations.
“Face the Truth” hails from Jay McGraw’s Stage 29 Productions, which also produces “The Doctors” and CBS primetime series “Bull.” McGraw is the son of Dr. Phil McGraw, whom “Bull” is based on.
“Face the Truth” will offer “a unique take on talk by providing meaningful conflict with constructive resolution,” per CBS Television Distribution (CTD). Each episode features real people presenting their problems to a panel of hosts.
Fox’s panel will include “Bar Rescue” host Jon Taffer, attorney Areva Martin, psychologist Dr. Judy Ho, and actress/life coach Rosie Mercado. The panel will offer their take on issues ranging from dating and relationships to bad habits to parenting.
The studio audience will also be allowed to vote on which party they think is right and which is wrong — you know, just in case Taffer loses his cool.

In addition to Jay and Phil McGraw, Carla Pennington and Patricia Ciano are also executive producers.
