Warner Bros. Television Group has named Jay Levine vice president, business planning, the company announced on Wednesday.
In the newly created position, Levine will be based in Burbank and report to Craig Hunegs, executive vice president, business management. He will work closely with the TV Group’s senior management and the studio’s business development and strategic planning department on potential acquisitions, growth initiatives, new business development and financial planning.
“As we plan for growth in production and distribution as well as expand on our core creative expertise, Jay brings a fresh perspective, strong business skills and great instincts to our business,” said Hunegs.
Levine was most recently at The Walt Disney Company where he worked as an associate in their corporate strategy and business development group. Prior to that, he was senior manager, finance and business development for ESPN.com. Levine began his career at Bear Stearns & Company as a financial analyst in their media & entertainment investment banking group.
