ABC’s Thursday lineup of Shondaland dramas will air their midseason finales on Thursday, going on hiatus for the long, cold winter until February.

Though there’s no doubt that these three shows will conclude the first half of their seasons with a number of cliffhangers and unanswered questions, TheWrap has rounded up a list of questions that will (hopefully) be answered on the last TGIT day of 2015:

Why does Owen hate Nathan so much?

Much of this season of “Grey’s Anatomy” has seen Meredith having to learn to work with Penny, the doctor responsible for Derek’s death last season, but as of last week, she’s not the only one being forced to confront past demons. Owen was so upset when he discovered that Bailey hired Dr. Nathan Riggs to the hospital’s cardiology department, he went on a tirade about it in the middle of the hospital.

Though Meredith agreed last week to hate Nathan without getting an explanation, Owen will probably have to share the reason for their acrimonious relationship when he punches him in the face in the “Grey’s” winter finale.

“Grey’s Anatomy” airs at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Will Rowan survive?

In his own words, Olivia’s father is being “hunted,” and he was captured by Huck at the end of last week’s episode. Speculation ran rampant on social media after last week’s show, with fans wondering whether or not Papa Pope would see the back half of the season. Whether or not Huck brings an end to Rowan’s reign of terror, it will surely cause some drama among the Gladiators.

What new drama will cohabitation bring Fitz and Olivia?

Fitz had Olivia’s things moved into the White House following her jailhouse confession about her father. Their relationship is finally out in the open, but it hardly seems likely that it will mean smooth sailing going forward. This week’s episode will surely introduce new complications into their relationship just in time for the holiday season.

“Scandal” airs at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

What is Annalise’s connection to Wes?

The relationship between Annalise and Wes has always had shades of more than a typical teacher-student relationship, and that finally came to a head when Annalise said “it’s him” to her old flame Eve in a recent episode. Are they mother and son? A potential couple? Creator Pete Nowalk has promised some answers and a little bit of backstory in the winter finale.

Who shot Annalise?

This one needs no explanation. The mystery of who shot Annalise has been hanging over “How to Get Away With Murder” all season, and ABC is promising to finally reveal the identity of the shooter in the midseason finale.

“How to Get Away With Murder” airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
