Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Beyonce, OK GO Among YouTube Music Award Winners

Ed Sheeran and Charli XCX are among emerging artists creating exclusive content for the online program produced by Vice

Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Beyoncé and OK GO are among the 50 artists that have been named winners of the 2015 YouTube Music Awards.

The video-sharing service announced the winners on Monday by releasing a 50-second video, which did not detail why the artists won or in what category, if any.

Ariana Grande, Alt-J, Brad Paisley, Charli XCX, Drake, Ed Sheeran, Hozier, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, One Direction and Lady Gaga are also among the winners chosen by fans.

“The winning artists showed the biggest growth in views, subscribers and engagement over the last six months on YouTube,” the Google-owned company said. “That’s what makes them artists to watch on YouTube in 2015, and YTMA winners.”

The online-only event later this month will be accompanied by a collection of exclusive, new music videos from established and emerging artists. They will premiere, all at once, on the YouTube Music Awards channel at 10 a.m. PT on March 23. Vice Media is producing the entire program.

Artists creating new content include, but are not limited to, Sheeran, Charli XCX, Cahoots, Martin Garrix, Max Schneider, Migos, Megan Nicole, Nicky Jam and Shamir.

Watch the video to see who all of the 50 winners of the second annual YouTube Music Awards are.
