In her new job, Jenkins will oversee the company's greenlight and sales strategies across television and film platforms. She also will shepherd MRC's joint distribution venture with Universal, while continuing to support the studio’s day-to-day business planning, production budgeting and foreign sales efforts.

She'll also look for strategic partnerships, distribution deals and new business opportunities.

Before MRC, Jenkins was an associate in the media and telecom investment banking group of Credit Suisse. Before that, she was an associate at McKinsey & Company. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School and an undergraduate degree from Stanford.

MRC projects include the new Matt Damon film "The Adjustment Bureau" and "30 Minutes or Less," starring Academy Award nominee Jesse Eisenberg and set for an Aug. 12 release.
