New Regency Hires Jeff Elefterion and Heta Paarte to Run Marketing Departments

Elefterion previously worked for The Weinstein Company, while Paarte was with Focus Features

New Regency has hired Jeff Elefterion and Heta Paarte to run domestic and international marketing departments, respectively, the company announced on Tuesday

Elefterion previously served as the head of creative advertising at The Weinstein Company and joins New Regency as domestic marketing chief. Paarte, the former executive vice president of international marketing and distribution for Focus Features, is based in the U.K. office as the international marketing chief.

Both appointments are effective immediately.

Paarte will oversee marketing and distribution for all international releases on behalf of the company, which has a busy fall ahead with David Fincher‘s “Gone Girl,” Michael Keaton comedy “Birdman” and Cameron Crowe’s untitled film starring Bradley Cooper and Rachel McAdams on the slate.

“With a busy slate for us this upcoming fall and beyond, we felt this was the perfect time to bring in Jeff and Heta, both esteemed marketing vets, who will help strengthen our internal processes and work closely with our various studio partners on the campaigns and release of these films,”  president and chief executive officer Brad Weston said in a statement.
