All eyes were on Sarah Huckabee Sanders Wednesday as the Deputy Press Secretary filled in for her boss, Sean Spicer, who according to the administration is at the Pentagon through Friday to fulfill his obligations as a member of the U.S. Navy reserve.
Sanders fielded some tough questions from the press corps during the first White House briefing since President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey on Tuesday.
But reviews from the peanut gallery were brutal.
“Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the definition of an amoeba in the human form,” wrote one critic. “Let’s just say if she has one cell- it is NOT a brain cell.”
“Sarah huckabee sanders Sean spicer and Kellyanne Conway have a pre existing condition, its called lying,” tweeted another
A third asked: “Are we sure Sarah Huckabee Sanders isn’t just Sean Spicer in a wig??”
To be fair, not everyone thought she bombed. Some said she did better than Spicer… thought we admit, that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement.
