Twentieth Century Fox TV Taps 3 New VPs

Jennifer Carreras and Mandy Summers get promoted, while new hire comes from “Glamour” magazine

Twentieth Century Fox Television has promoted executives Jennifer Carreras to Vice President, Comedy Development and Mandy Summers to VP of Current Programming.

Additionally, former “Glamour” editor Jen Weinberg has joined the studio as Vice President, Talent Relations and Events.

Carreras reports to Executive Vice President of Development, Michael Thorn; Summers reports to the EVP of Current Programming, Jeffrey Glaser. Weinberg will report to Chris Alexander, Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and Publicity.

Carreras recently served as director of Comedy Development. She joined Twentieth Century Fox TV in July 2007 as assistant to Chairman and CEO Dana Walden. A graduate of University of Wisconsin and Chicago native, Carreras resides with her husband in Los Angeles.

Summers formerly was Executive Director, Current Programming. Her tenure at the studio began in 2003, as an assistant to Chairman and CEO’s Walden and Gary Newman. A graduate the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son, Bradley.

Weinberg joins the studio after serving as “Glamour’s” west coast editor for four years. Before that, she served as the magazine’s director of Public Relations, spearheading its publicity and promotion strategies.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Weinberg lives in Venice with her husband.
