MTV subjects Kiaira and Cortney have a baby together. There’s just one thing: Wednesday’s “Catfish” couple has never met each other.
In this particular case, Kiaira has never met the baby, nor has she even seen a picture. But first things first: How do two people who never met even have a child anyway?
“She did not want to take the time off and be pregnant,” Kiaira begins her explanation to hosts Nev and Max. “Neither did I.”
“So we decided that let’s have a surrogate,” she continues in the above sneak peek clip, which is exclusive to TheWrap. “I would send her money every time that I got paid.”
“She did everything on her own without even me knowing,” Kiaira adds via webcam. “I just found out about the baby two weeks after he was born.”
Yeah, none of this feels legit.
When Nev and Max express concern about the existence of this baby, Kiaira defends her online love, saying that when the two talk on the phone she hears a baby in the background.
“I really think she meant for it to be a surprise,” Kiaira tells the guys.
You don’t even want to hear her explanation for why Kiaira hasn’t seen a photo.
“This is INSANE,” Nev sums up all of our feelings.
