“Harry Potter” alum will next lead Disney’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast”

Actress Emma Watson has jumped from William Morris Endeavor to Creative Artists Agency for film representation, TheWrap has learned. She will still be managed by Untitled Entertainment.

The fan favorite and activist is best known for playing Hermione Granger in the eight-movie “Harry Potter” franchise. She’s next tasked with bringing to life one of Walt Disney’s most beloved princesses, Belle of “Beauty and the Beast.”

Watson stars opposite an ensemble (mostly voices) that includes Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, Stanley Tucci, Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Dan Stevens and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. The film hits on March 17, 2017.

She’ll also star in the tech thriller “The Circle” opposite Tom Hanks and “Star Wars” breakout John Boyega.

In addition to her acting career, Watson is a Global Goodwill Ambassador for UN Women, and works to promote gender equality and the empowerment of women worldwide. She’s also a Brown University grad.
