“Teen Mom” alum Farrah Abraham faces a possible 18 months in jail, after being charged following her arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel last month.

Abraham has been charged with one misdemeanor count each of battery and resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office told TheWrap on Monday. If convicted as charged, Abraham faces a year and six months in jail.

The reality TV personality is due in court for arraignment on August 13.

People reported that Abraham was arrested following an alleged altercation with a hotel employee in June. Citing a spokesperson from the Beverly Hills Police Department, the outlet reported that police responded to a report of a disturbance in the hotel restaurant shortly after 1 a.m. on June 13.

“A male adult hotel security officer reported that he asked Abraham to leave the hotel after she refused to disengage from a verbal altercation with hotel guests,” says the spokesperson. “The security officer reported that Abraham struck him in the face with her forearm, grabbed his ear and pushed him in the face as he attempted to prevent her from re-entering the hotel. Officers noted that Abraham exhibited signs of intoxication during the investigation.”

TheWrap has reached out to a spokesperson for Abraham regarding the charges.
