Justin Bieber stopped by “Ellen” for a surprise Friday appearance to spritz her New York City orchids, but he ended up just breaking some expensive equipment instead.
After a bunch of shrieking from the younger portion of Ellen DeGeneres‘ audience, Bieber participated in a brief too-cool-for-school interview. He seemed to perk up a bit when the comedian plugged the artist’s new No. 1 single, “What Do You Mean?”
Bieber and DeGeneres then set out to deliver merch to some lucky audience members. They had help for distance in the form of T-shirt cannons.
After blasting a few deep, the pop singer elected to point his weapon directly at a camera, nailing it from a decent distance. He appeared to crack teleprompter in the process.
