Shortly after news broke that actor Bryan Cranston would return for Lionsgate’s “Power Rangers,” the studio has released a new teaser poster to get fans excited.

The poster, released on Twitter, shows the silhouettes of five people against the backdrop of a sunset, with the stars aligning to form the franchise’s iconic lightning bolt logo.

“Together We Are More,” the tagline reads.

The team of multi-colored Rangers consists mostly of relative newcomers: singer Becky G as Yellow Ranger Trini, Ludi Lin as Black Ranger Zack, Dacre Montgomery as Red Ranger Jason, Naomi Scott as Pink Ranger Kimberly and R.J. Cyler as Blue Ranger Billy. Elizabeth Banks also stars.

Liongate’s big-budget production is taking on a much edgier tone than the original television series, which has been reflected in the film’s costumes — previewed for fans in early May. Costume designers have thrown away the spandex, designing harder-looking armored suits.

“Power Rangers” is set for a March 24, 2017 release.
