WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey has joined Season 3 of “9-1-1” in a fiery recurring role, Fox confirmed to TheWrap Thursday.

The former UFC standout — who recently lent her voice as Sonya Blade in “Mortal Kombat 11” — will play Lena, “a fearless member of the LAFD’s Station 136.”

Fox dropped a trailer for the third season of the Ryan Murphy first-responder drama Wednesday, featuring the Station 118 crew struggling to keep their heads above water as they face a tsunami at the Santa Monica Pier. (Yes, you read that right.)

The series stars Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kenneth Choi, Ryan Guzman and Aisha Hinds.

“9-1-1” was created by Murphy, Minear and Brad Falchuk, who executive produce and write the series, with Minear acting as showrunner on the series. Bradley Buecker and Alexis Martin Woodall are also executive producers, with Bassett grabbing a co-executive producer credit.

The drama hails from 20th Century Fox Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision.

Readers can catch up on where we left off with Bobby, Athena, Maddie, Chimney and the gang at the end of Season 2 by checking out our post-mortem interview with showrunner Minear here.

“9-1-1” Season 3 premieres Monday, Sept. 23 at 8/7c on Fox.
