New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady revealed his new haircut on Tuesday, and the Internet doesn’t appear to approve, comparing him to everyone from Megyn Kelly to “Saved by the Bell” character Zack Morris.
Brady, who is suspended for the first four games of the upcoming season because of the so-called Deflategate scandal, has been mocked for his hairstyles in the past; the star QB has rocked everything from a borderline mullet to spiked short hair. He has also been picked on for his choice of headwear, and a Kentucky Derby outfit of his has also been met with similar sniping.
So, yeah, Twitter has not been kind.
“And then I told my barber: Give me the Megyn Kelly,” ESPN’s Mina Kimes jokingly captioned an image of Brady.
Another user asked, “Are we to believe it’s purely coincidence that Tom Brady keeps rocking haircuts once worn by Jonathan Taylor Thomas?”
“It pains me to say it, but Tom Brady needs another four weeks of suspension to grow out this Zack Morris haircut,” someone else wrote.
Brady is married to supermodel Gisele and has won four Super Bowls, so it’s safe to assume that he’ll be all right with a little criticism on social media.
