Adam Sandler broke all existing records at an awards show on Sunday night, but it's the awards show where you really don't want to break records.
Sandler's critically-savaged comedy "Jack and Jill" swept the 32nd annual Golden Raspberry Awards, which are given out each year to the worst movies and performances as judged by the opinionated voters and bad-movie lovers who make up the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation.
"Jack and Jill," which the Razzies dubbed a "two-for-one twaddle-fest" featuring Sandler in dual roles as a man and his sister, was named worst picture, worst screenplay (Sandler, Steve Koren and Ben Zook) and worst director (Dennis Dugan).

It also won the award for worst remake, rip-off or sequel. According to Razzie organizers, it was a "remake/rip-off" of Ed Wood's "Glen or Glenda," though the two films have absolutely nothing in common except that both of them include men wearing women's clothing and neither of them are good.
Sandler won awards for worst actor and worst actress. Al Pacino, who has a small role as himself, was named worst supporting actor, while David Spade was named worst supporting actress for his own cross-dressing role.
The film's cast was also "honored" as the worst ensemble, while the worst screen couple award – which for the first time was open to voting by readers of the Rotten Tomatoes website – went to "Jack and Jill" in what organizers said was a close vote over "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part I."
"Jack and Jill" shared its worst actor and worst director awards with another Sandler production, "Just Go With It."
Unlike past winners Halle Berry and Sandra Bullock, Sandler did not appear at the Razzies' ceremony, which took place in Santa Monica, to accept his awards.
(Perhaps he stayed home reading the review of the film from the reliably contrarian Armond White, who called "Jack and Jill" "hilarious," compared it to Ernest Lubitsch and lauded Sandler's "subtle feminine caricature.")
For this year's show, the Razzies abandoned their traditional day-before-the-Oscars slot for a move to April Fool's Day.
Earlier this year, Movieline magazine attempted to start rival awards to single out the worst films and performances of the year – but only days after it announced the nominees for the first Soily Awards, all traces of those nominations disappeared from Movieline's website.
