Friends and family of two-time Emmy-winning producer Denise Cramsey will honor her next week in a way that recognizes her love of mountain climbing.
Her fiance, Scott Farquharson, is asking guests at her memorial to bring keepsakes that represent their personal connection to Cramsey in a box that will be placed at the entrance. It will be buried near the approximately 14,500-foot of summit of Mt. Whitney, the highest peak in the lower 48 U.S. states.

The memorial will be held next Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the Academy of Television Arts and Science in North Hollywood, at 3:30 pm. in the Leonard Goldenson Theatre.
Those who can't deliver keepsakes in person are invited to send them to Farquharson at 686 Camino Manzanas, Thousand Oaks, Calif., 91360. Her loved ones plan to take them to the Mt. Whitney next year.
Cramsey died Nov. 23 of a brain aneurysm. She who won back-to-back Emmys in 2007 and 2008 for executive producing "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," and other credits included "School Pride," on NBC, "True Beauty," on ABC, and "Home Edition," which ran on ABC from 2004 to 2008. She also executive produced "Expedition Inspiration," a documentary about recovering from breast cancer.
On her "Expedition Inspiration" biography, she listed her greatest personal accomlishment as summitting Nepal's Kala Pattar — an altitude of 18,500 feet.
