Disney XD Movie ‘Pants on Fire’ Turns Bradley Steven Perry’s Many Lies Into Crazy Truths (Exclusive Video)

Joshua J. Ballard and Tyrel Jackson Williams also star in the comedy

If you couldn’t already tell from the title of Disney XD’s new movie, Bradley Steven Perry is playing a liar, liar, “Pants on Fire.” But when some of the untruths his character Jack has told actually start to happen, he and his friends have to try to fix his fibbing.

In an exclusive video clip for TheWrap, Perry runs down the long list of lies he’s told, including telling the kids at summer camp that his uncle was a pro wrestler and informing a friend that he was late getting to the movies because he was almost abducted by aliens.

“Maybe it’s easier if you list the things you didn’t lie about,” his buddy Ryan tells him, played by actor Joshua J. Ballard.

As if the situation wasn’t crazy enough, the gang then has to chase down a plush purple hippo that could hold the key to why these mind-blowing events are happening.

The movie also stars Disney XD star Tyrel Jackson Williams, Brittney Wilson as Jack’s sister Hannah, Taylor Russell as Jack’s school crush and Nicholas Coombe as Jack’s friend Eric.

“Pants on Fire” was directed by Jon Rosenbaum (“Mighty Med,” “Austin & Ally”) and written by Alex Cramer.

The premiere of “Pants on Fire” airs Sunday at 7 p.m. ET on Disney XD.
