Lena Dunham has reason to celebrate Monday.
Sunday’s Season 3 finale of Dunham’s HBO series “Girls” improved in ratings over the previous season’s finale.
Granted, it was a minor growth spurt — with 670,000 viewers, the 9 p.m. airing was up a slight 6 percent over the Season 2 finale.
Over its three airings, the “Girls” finale drew 1 million total viewers.
Not that Dunham had much cause for concern over the finale ratings — the series had already been renewed for a fourth season.
