Director and co-writer Kyle Rideout’s comedic drama “Public Schooled” was shooting according to plan until the final days — when Vancouver was hit with a snowstorm that dropped two feet of the white stuff everywhere.
“I was excited because I live in L.A. and I was like, ‘This is so fun,’” actress Judy Greer told TheWrap’s Steve Pond during a video interview at the Toronto Film Festival.
“We had this gorgeous perfect snowstorm and we were, like, shooting around it,” said Greer, who plays the somewhat overbearing mother whose home-schooled son (Daniel Doheny) forces himself into the local public school.
