The first full trailer for “Pompeii” makes it look a lot like “Gladiator,” plus a giant volcano erupting all over the Romans.
Kit Harrington stars in director Paul W.S. Anderson‘s upcoming thriller as a slave-turned-gladiator fighting for his freedom, and then trying to avoid death by lava when Mount Vesuvius erupts.

Emily Browning also stars as Harrington’s one true love, while Kiefer Sutherland, Jared Harris, Jessica Lucas, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Carrie-Ann Moss co-star in the period disaster movie.
FilmDistrict is releasing “Pompeii” in 3D on Feb. 21 next year.
