“Bar Rescue” boss Jon Taffer’s new show is coming a bit earlier than expected.
Spike TV has bumped up the premiere date for Taffer’s upcoming series “Hungry Investors” by a week, the network said Monday. The series will now premiere May 4 at 10 p.m.

The new series will feature Taffer, who helps to turn around struggling drinking establishments on the recently-renewed “Bar Rescue,” spreading his wings to help out suffering “diamond in the rough” restaurants across the country, including in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New Orleans.
Taffer will be joined on his mission by expert chefs John Besh and Tiffany Derry (“Top Chef”).
