Bill Maher says Donald Trump is like a “spoiled 5-year-old throwing a tantrum.”
Maher reminded “Real Time” viewers on Friday that he has argued that Trump is the child of an orangutan since long before Trump became the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination.
“If there’s anything scarier than the fact that Donald Trump thinks he’s the most important person in the world, it’s that in eight months, he could be,” Maher said.
“What Donald Trump really reminds me of is a spoiled 5-year-old throwing a tantrum,” he continued. “He is the grown-up version of every pain in the ass kid who ever sat behind you on a plane, kicking the back of your seat while the parents did nothing.
“If you won’t shove him in the overhead bin, I will!”
This, Maher said, is the result of the “self-esteem movement” of the past 40 years, and he went on to warn parents that whenever they don’t discipline their kids, they are “creating the Donald Trumps of tomorrow.”
He said the movement will create a generation of people who think that nobody is better than they are and that everybody deserves a “trophy (wife).” He said, Trump is “the white Kanye West!”
