YouTube’s Hoffner Joins Silverman’s Electus

Had overseen content partnerships for online giant.

Jordan Hoffner, the head of content partnerships for YouTube, is leaving the company to join Electus, Ben Silverman’s new content venture at IAC, in an as-yet-unnamed role.

Hoffner is the second senior digital executive to join Silverman’s venture, after Drew Buckley joined from Terry Semel’s Windsor Media last month.

Replacing Hoffner in his position at Google/YouTube will be Chris Maxcy, who has been heading YouTube’s music partnerships.
