Oh great, Anfisa is back.
On the plus side, that means so is “90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?” — TLC’s follow-up series to its popular “90 Day Fiance.” This season, fans get to check in with their favorite K-1 visa couples: Danielle and Mohamed, Loren and Alexei, Russ and Paola, Chantel and Pedro — and yes, (sigh) Anfisa and Jorge.
On this weekend’s Season 2 premiere, Jorge admits to his new Russian wife that he’s not exactly as well off as she’s been led to believe. TheWrap‘s got your exclusive sneak peek at exactly how well that went over.
“Business is slow and I haven’t been doing the same as before,” he admits in the clip. “I’m not a millionaire. I’m trying to be honest with you. In fact, in all honesty, I am in a little debt.”
“I’ve always been honest with you and you’ve always lied to me,” Anfisa replies. “You promised me I’ll get whatever I want.”
Fair enough on that whole “fake news” point, though she’d come back to the “getting stuff” argument again.
“So now that Anfisa knows that I’m in debt, I’m worried that she’s gonna either leave me or put me more in debt,” Jorge says later to-camera. “Either way, it’s not gonna be good.”
“I feel like I can’t trust him anymore,” his bride says in her own solo interview.
Watch the video above, and maybe don’t marry for money.
