Open Road Films has picked up the U.S. rights to the drama-thriller, “All I See Is You,” starring Blake Lively and Jason Clarke.
Directed by Marc Forster (“World War Z”), the film will be released on Aug. 4 of next year, Open Road CEO Tom Ortenberg announced Tuesday.
“All I See Is You” follows a blind woman (Lively) and her husband (Clarke). Her sight unexpectedly returns, but with that, she discovers disturbing details about her marriage and their lives.
The film also stars Yvonne Strahovski, Danny Huston, Ahna O’Reilly and West Chatham. Craig Baumgarten, Michael Selby, Forster and Jillian Kugler are producing, while executive producers on the project are Ron Perlman, Brian Wilkins and Renee Wolfe.
SC International Pictures, 2DUX2, Wing and A Prayer Pictures, and Link Entertainment are the production companies involved.
“Since we worked together on the groundbreaking ‘Monster’s Ball,’ I have been hoping to work with Marc Forster again,” stated Ortenberg. “‘All I See Is You’ is a provocative thriller with a great cast and Marc has made yet another terrific film.”
The deal was negotiated on behalf of Open Road Films by Ortenberg, Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel Elliott Kleinberg, and SVP Acquisitions Lejo Pet. WME Global, along with producers Baumgarten and Selby, negotiated for the filmmakers.
