‘Chicago’ Cast Reuniting for Oscars

Renée Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richard Gere and Queen Latifah will appear as presenters

The cast of "Chicago" will reunite as presenters on this year's Oscars telecast, the show's producers said Monday.

Renée Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Richard Gere and Queen Latifah will all appear on stage together.

"Chicago," the 2002 adaptation of the hit Broadway musical scored a Best Picture Academy Award, and a Best Supporting Actress statue for Zeta-Jones. John C. Reilly, Zelleger and Latifah were nominated, but did not win Oscars for their work in the film.

The producers did not say how the stars of the film will be involved in the telecast, but earlier they announced that the show will honor the movie musicals of the last 10 years, including "Chicago."  Producers also plan to showcase "Dreamgirls" and this year's "Les Misérables."

This year's show has lined up an impressive list of musical performers, including Adele, Dame Shirley Bassey, Norah Jones and Barbra Streisand.

The Oscars will be hosted by Seth MacFarlane and will air on Feb.  24.
