Esquire’s ‘Best Bars in America’ Host Isn’t Afraid of a Little Karaoke Challenge (Exclusive Video)

Two comedians and experienced drinkers explore the best bars in the U.S.

There are about 45,000 bar and nightclub establishments in the United States. Imagine if you could discover some of the top pubs, karaoke bars, dance clubs, and lounges from your living room couch.

Well, Esquire Network’s new series, “Best Bars in America,” has done the work (and the drinking) for you.

Premiering Wednesday night at 10/9c, , stand-up comedians and the show’s hosts, Jay Larson and Sean Patton, join David Wondrich, a cocktail historian, to sip specialty drinks, play pool in trendy dive bars, sing karaoke in modern pubs, dance in clubs with go-go dancers, and eat delicious dishes in swanky hotel lounges.

The show takes a page from Esquire Magazine’s annual “Best Bars” list,  traveling coast to coast to give viewers an insider look at the establishments.

In TheWrap’s exclusive sneak peak from Wednesday’s premiere episode, the best friends visit Albi Tiki Lounge in Portland, Ore. Watch as the funny and confident Sean takes the stage to sing his rendition of “When The Saints Go Marching In.”
