Hugh Hefner will get to relive the humiliation of being jilted at the altar all over again — and all on national TV.
The 85-year-old Playboy founder — who was dumped by his bride-to-be, playmate Crystal Harris, just days before their wedding earlier this month — announced that a previously abandoned Lifetime special about the wedding is back in production, albeit with a few alterations.

"The marriage special planned for Lifetime TV is now going to have a 'runaway bride, theme & will air in July," Hefner tweeted. "I'll let everyone know the date of the Lifetime special as soon as it's established."
Hefner added that his former companions and "Girls Next Door" costars, Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson, were on hand at the Playboy mansion on Tuesday to lend "their emotional support" while the revamped special shot.

Hefner and Harris were to marry on June 18, but the former announced that the two had split a few days before they were to walk the aisle, tweeting, "The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart." Lifetime initially canceled the two-hour special in light of the split.
Harris, 25, has since moved on with Jordan McGraw, the son of TV advice-dispenser Phil McGraw. Hefner reacted to the breakup by humorously altering the latest cover of Playboy, which featured Harris billed as "Mrs. Crystal Hefner."
Lifetime Networks did not immediately respond to TheWrap's request for comment.
