A man who allegedly made bomb threats to KABC-TV, forcing employees to evacuate the studio, has been charged with multiple felony counts, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office said Thursday.

Tyler Raj Barriss, 22, from Glendale, California, faces two felony counts of false report of a bomb to an agency or business and one felony count of criminal threats. He faces a maximum sentence of four years and four months if convicted as charged.

According to the district attorney’s office, Barriss is suspected of making the threats on Sept. 30 and Oct. 9. He’s also accused of threatening a relative to prevent her from reporting the threats.

Bail for Barriss, who has pleaded not guilty to the charges, has been set at $1 million. He’s scheduled to return to court Oct. 27 for a preliminary hearing.
