Ratings: Fox’s ‘Last Man On Earth’ Continues Post-Premiere Slide

ABC edges Will Forte-sitcom network for first place in the key demo; CBS tops total viewers

ABC squeaked by Fox for a Sunday victory in the advertiser-sought 18-49 demographic, as Will Forte‘s “Last Man on Earth” dropped 21 percent from last week’s fallen numbers. CBS finished first in primetime total viewers.

That said, Fox touts the still relatively new “Last Man” as one of its stronger delayed viewing shows.

ABC was first in ratings with a 1.4 rating/4 share in the key demo and second in total viewers with an average of 5.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “America’s Funniest Home Videos” at 7 p.m. got a 1.3/5 and 6 million viewers. “Once Upon a Time” at 8 received a 1.8/6 — the best of the night — and 5.8 million viewers. “Secrets and Lies” at 9 had a 1.3/4 and 5.3 million viewers. “Revenge” at 10 posted a 1.1/3 and 4.8 million viewers.

Fox was second in ratings with a 1.3/4, but fourth in viewers with 3.1 million. Following a rerun, “Bob’s Burgers” at 7:30 got a 1.0/4 and 2.3 million viewers. “The Simpsons” at 8 had a 1.5/5 and 3.6 million viewers. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” at 8:30 received a 1.4/4 and 3 million viewers. “Family Guy” at 9 dipped 19 percent to a 1.7/5 and had 3.5 million viewers. “The Last Man on Earth” fell to a 1.5/4 and 3.7 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 1.1/4, but first in viewers with 9.5 million. At 7, “60 Minutes” posted a 1.4/6 and primetime-best 11.19 million viewers. “Madam Secretary” at 8 had a 1.2/4 and 11.18 million. “Good Wife” at 9 got a 1.0/3 and 8.8 million viewers. “Battle Creek” at 10 received a 0.8/3 and 6.7 million viewers.

Univision was fourth in ratings with a 0.9/3 and fifth in viewers with 2.4 million.

NBC was fifth in ratings with a 0.8/3, but third in viewers with 4.2 million. Following a repeat, “Dateline” at 9 had a 0.9/3 and 5 million viewers.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.2 million.
