Liam Hemsworth Following Up ‘Hunger Games’ With ‘Timeless’

Phillip Noyce-directed romantic drama centers on man who turns to time travel after his wife dies

Liam Hemsworth will follow up his hotly anticipated starring turn in "The Hunger Games" with the romantic drama "Timeless," Relativity Media said on Wednesday.

Phillip Noyce, who is best known for overseeing action-thrillers such as "Salt" and "Patriot Games," will direct the script by Bill Kelly ("Enchanted").

The movie centers on a man who enlists the world’s best minds to find a way to turn back time and reunite him with his dead wife.

Hemsworth, who is relatively unknown to American audiences, previously starred opposite Miley Cyrus in 2010's "The Last Song." After their on-screen cavorting seeped off-screen, he became a regular in gossip magazines.

"Timeless" is being produced by Sunil Perkash ("Salt"), Relativity’s CEO Ryan Kavanaugh ("The Fighter"), and is executive produced by Relativity’s Co-President, Tucker Tooley ("The Fighter").
