“The Little Couple” returns to TLC on Tuesday at 9 p.m., and it appears that the episode will be out of this world. Or at least a part of it will be.
In the episode, Bill, Jen and the kids take a tour of the NASA’s Johnson Space Center, including a visit to a space vehicle mockup facility where astronauts do simulation training.
While the tots treated the facility “more like a Chuck E. Cheese,” climbing all over the the place and pulling on equipment, Bill showed a deeper appreciation for the family’s surroundings.
“It’s pretty awe-inspiring. As we speak, the stuff we’re looking at is up in space right now being employed by astronauts from a few different countries,” Bill enthused. “It’s only second to being launched up into space and being able to play with the real thing.”
He continued, “It’s a pretty wild experience; I highly recommend it.”
Ha, “highly” recommended; we see what he did there.
