Comedy legend Mel Brooks will guest on TBS’ “Conan” on Tuesday to remember his close friend, the late Sid Caesar.

Conan O’Brien‘s late night show will dedicate the majority of its hour to Brooks, who worked with Caesar on “Your Show of Shows,” among other comedies. Brooks will share personal and professional stories about his old buddy, whom O’Brien has celebrated in his own right since Caesar’s passing this week at age 91.

When Larry King was on “Conan” earlier this week, O’Brien implored younger viewers to familiarize themselves with Caesar’s work, referring to him as “the nuclear explosion of sketch comedy.” King, who also knew and interviewed the late comic several time, broke the news of Caesar’s passing earlier that day to many.

The special “Conan” airs Tuesday at 11/10c on TBS.
