Coverage of Tornado-ravaged Oklahoma has the broadcast networks moving their schedules and beefing up their news coverage.
NBC has decided to preempt its one-hour "The Voice" recap show at 8 p.m. ET for a live special hosted by Brian Williams. It will air concurrently on NBC, MSNBC and the Weather Channel.
The live "The Voice" results show will air as planned at 9 p.m./8c. It will include a special tribute to Tornado victims from coach and Oklahoma native Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert. NBC is keeping the song title under wraps. They have been working on the performance since Monday and it's currently scheduled for the top of the hour.
The talent show will also make sure to get the word out on how to support the Red Cross in its efforts, including donating via RedCross.org, texting REDCROSS to 90999, and calling 1-800-Help-Now.
CBS, which pulled the tornado-themed season finale of comedy "Mike & Molly" on Monday, will extend "CBS Evening News With Scott Pelley" to 90 minutes to cover the tornado aftermath starting at 6:30 p.m. ET. Pelley will broadcast live from Moore, Okla. No primetime preemptions are currently planned.

ABC is airing a special one-hour edition of "ABC News With Diane Sawyer" at 6:30 p.m. ET with reports from its team of reporters in Oklahoma. A special edition of "Nightline" anchored by Cynthia McFadden with reports from its ABC team in the region will air at 12:35 a.m. ET. ABC didn't immediately return our request for comment on primetime preemptions.
The tornado, which hit Oklahoma City on Monday, damaged several homes, a hospital and at least two schools. It has claimed at least 24 lives, including nine children.
