Ratings: ABC’s ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Aftershow Grows While ‘The Whispers’ Dips

NBC tops night despite down “Ninja Warrior”

NBC finished first on Monday, even though “American Ninja Warrior” fell 14 percent week over week.

On ABC, “Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise” rose from last week in the time slot before “The Whispers” slipped.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.7 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 5.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Ninja Warrior” at 8 p.m. ET received a 1.8/6 and 6.7 million viewers. A rerun followed.

ABC and Fox tied for second in ratings, both with a 0.9/3. ABC was third in total viewers with 3.7 million, Fox was fourth with 3.1 million, airing just “So You Think You Can Dance.”

For ABC, “Bachelor in Paradise” at 8 p.m. posted a 1.5/6 and 5.2 million viewers. “After Paradise” at 9 had a 0.8/3 and 3.3 million viewers. “The Whispers” at 10 got a 0.5/2 and 2.5 million viewers.

CBS and Univision tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.8/3. CBS was second in total viewers with 5.2 million, airing only repeats; Univision was fifth with 2.1 million.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.7/3 and seventh in viewers with 1.7 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.6/2 and sixth in viewers with 2.1 million. “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” had a 0.7/3 and 2.6 million viewers. “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” at 9 p.m. got a 0.6/2 and 2 million viewers. “Significant Mother” at 9:30 received a 0.4/1 and 1.3 million viewers.

CW was preempted in New York last night.
