Showtime's pot dramedy "Weeds" ended its run Sunday night with a high worthy of Nancy Botwin's stash attracting its best ratings for its eighth and final season.
The "Weeds" series capper airing at 10 p.m. drew 864,000 total viewers, and the episode attracted 1.28 million total viewers throughout the finale. That's a 7 percent bump from the season premiere in July, which attracted 805,000 viewers with its initial airing. Compared to last year's Season 7 finale, Sunday's episode bested its predecessor by 55 percent with its initial airing, and by 74 percent when first night re-airings are taken into account for both episodes.
