No stranger to a dystopian television series, “The Walking Dead” actress Sarah Wayne Callies will go from zombies to an alien-occupied Los Angeles of the future on the pilot for “Colony,” USA Network announced on Monday.

Callies will play Katie Bowman, a mother of three who faces a daily struggle to keep her family safe, especially after her husband Will, played by “Lost’s” Josh Holloway, is forced to collaborate with the new colonial government.
