Trump Critics Post Naked Pictures of His Wife in Protest

“There are literally thousands of reasons why Trump shouldn’t be president, but ‘Melania posed nude once’ is absolutely not one of them”

Donald Trump’s victory in Tuesday’s presidential election has been met with protests by those upset by the outcome, but others have instead taken aim at his wife, Melania.

A few Twitter users have responded to the election by sharing risque photos from Trump’s past, claiming that she is unfit to serve as First Lady because of her past as a model.

“Ladies & Gentlemen..THIS is our new First Lady of the United States. Stay Classy America,” wrote one angry user.

Others have come to her defense, labeling the behavior as “slut shaming” and pointing out that her career has nothing to do with her husband’s presidency.

“There are literally thousands of reasons why Trump shouldn’t be president, but ‘Melania posed nude once’ is absolutely not one of them,” wrote one of the future First Lady’s defenders.

This is not the first time Trump has become the subject of social media mockery since her husband’s campaign thrust her into the national spotlight.

Trump was first turned into a meme after it was uncovered that much of Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention was plagiarized from Michelle Obama, and then again when a shot of her husband appearing to look over shoulder in the voting booth went viral on Election Day.

Melania Trump, for her part, has sought to stay above the fray, saying that finding ways to address cyberbullying among American youth will be one of her top priorities as First Lady.

“Our culture has gotten too mean and too rough, especially to children and teenagers,” she said in a speech earlier this month. “I do worry about all of our children. As we know, now social media is the centerpiece of our lives … But like anything that is powerful, it can have a bad side. We have seen this already.”
