Alanis Morissette, Meghan Trainor Perform a Clucking Rendition of ‘Ironic’ With Jimmy Fallon (Video)

The Jagged Little Chicks are as talented as they are feathered on Tuesday’s “Tonight Show”

Halloween might be over, but Jimmy Fallon still has his guests dressing up in ridiculous costumes.

Meghan Trainor and Alanis Morissette appeared on Tuesday’s “Tonight Show” to perform the Canadian rocker’s hit “Ironic” — but with a fine-feathered twist.

Along with Fallon, the pair formed a band called the Jagged Little Chicks and clucked to the cult track from Morissette’s 1995 album of a similar name.

Despite wearing yellow feather suits from beak-to-foot and clucking all the lyrics, the group really nailed the gritty passion of Morissette’s breakout hit.

It turns out that famous lines such as “It’s like rain on your wedding day, it’s a free ride when you’ve already paid, it’s the good advice that you just didn’t take,” sound just as good in chicken language.

“The Tonight Show” airs at 11.35 p.m. on NBC.
