Brad Bufanda, an actor whose credits include a recurring role on the UPN-CW series “Veronica Mars” and a brief stint on “Days of Our Lives,” died by suicide on Wednesday at the age of 34.
Bufanda’s death was confirmed by his manager, Kirsten Solem.
“We are completely devastated for he was an extremely talented young actor and wonderful, caring human being,” Solem in a statement. “He was reviving his career having just completed two movies and we are shocked and saddened by his passing.”
According to Los Angeles County Coroner Ed Winters, Bufanda jumped from a building in Los Angeles shortly after midnight, leaving a note behind for his loved ones. His family is requesting privacy at this time.
In addition to his best-known role as biker Felix Toombs in “Veronica Mars,” Bufanda’s other acting credits include “A Cinderella Story,” “Malcolm in the Middle,” “Boston Public,” as well as the upcoming films “Garlic and Gunpowder” and “Stan the Man.”
