Erinn Hayes has auditions on the mind after her exit from “Kevin Can Wait.”

The actress, who co-starred with Kevin James on the CBS sitcom until she was let go over the summer, recently took to Twitter to respond to a joke about auditions, and perhaps offer a new window into her thoughts about having to leave a successful show.

“Auditions are like a–holes….That’s it,” tweeted actor and writer Seth Morris, who worked with Hayes on “Children’s Hospital.”

Hayes replied, “Doesn’t need anything more.”

Her light-hearted quip aside, the “Guys With Kids” alum clearly knows a thing or two about how to nail an audition. After CBS announced in June that she would not return as Kevin’s wife Donna on “Kevin Can Wait,” Hayes was added in July to the cast of Amazon’s “The Dangerous Book for Boys,” which counts Bryan Cranston as an executive producer.

Hayes tweeted in June that she had “been let go” from “Kevin Can Wait,” and that it was “very sad.” Donna was killed off in the Season 2 premiere that aired last month, and Hayes was replaced as female lead by Leah Remini, who co-starred with James for nine seasons on CBS’ “King of Queens.”

Below is Hayes’ tweet about auditions.
