‘Man From U.N.C.L.E.’ Trailer Shows Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer in ’60s-Style Spy Action (Video)

Alicia Vikander joins the slap-happy action in extended look at the thriller due in theaters on August 14

Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer suit up for ’60s-style action in an extended trailer for Warner Bros.’ Cold War spy thriller “The Man From U.N.C.L.E” that premiered Saturday at Comic-Con.

Cavill (“Man of Steel”) stars as American agent Napoleon Solo opposite Armie Hammer (“The Social Network”) as Russian agent Illya Kuryakin during the Cold War.

Forced to move past longstanding hostilities, the duo take on a joint mission to stop a rogue international organization from using nuclear weapons to seize control.

Alicia Vikander also joins the slap-happy fun in director Guy Ritchie’s adaptation of the old TV series, which seems chockablock with car chases and hand-to-hand combat.

Warner Bros. will release the film on August 14.
