Mexico Seeks Extradition of ‘Survivor’ Producer in Murder Case

Bruce Beresford-Redman was ordered to stay in Mexico, but he returned to his home in California

Mexico has requested the extradition of a former "Survivor" producer who is accused of murdering his wife at an upscale resort, a foreign ministry official said on Wednesday.

Bruce Beresford-Redman was named as the prime suspect shortly after the body of his Brazilian wife, Monica, was found in a drainage pipe at Cancun's Moon Palace hotel in April.

He was ordered to surrender his passport and remain in Mexico, but left the country under unclear circumstances and is now in California.
