“This Is Us” has cut Kevin Spacey’s name from Tuesday night’s episode in the wake of a sexual misconduct accusation against the actor.

“In light of recent events, the producers have decided to remove the brief reference to Kevin Spacey,” reads the statement from 20th Century Fox, the studio behind the hit NBC series.

In a version of the episode previously made available to press, Kevin’s (Justin Hartley) friend mentions that he recently booked a role in a Spacey film. There is not yet word on whether a different actor’s name will be mentioned in place of the “House of Cards” star.

The move follows “Star Trek: Discovery” actor Anthony Rapp account to BuzzFeed on Sunday that Spacey made a sexual advance toward him three decades ago, when Rapp was just 14.

Spacey has apologized but said he does not remember the events in question.

Netflix said Monday that “House of Cards” will end after its upcoming sixth season. Production on Season 6 of the heralded drama series has been suspended indefinitely.
