’24’ Co-Creator Bob Cochran Joins ‘Live Another Day’ as EP

He joins showrunner Howard Gordon, writers Evan Katz and David Fury, and director Jon Cassar for the final chapter

Yet another "24" alum is returning to work on the upcoming mini-season, "Live Another Day."

Robert "Bob" Cochran, who co-created the series and went on to write and executive produce for the entire run, has joined as an executive producer, a 20th Century Fox TV spokesman told TheWrap.

He'll reunite with showrunner Howard Gordon and joins writers Evan Katz and David Fury, as well as director Jon Cassar for the show's limited-run upcoming season.

Cochran created and produced Canada's "La Femme Nikita." He has also written and produced on "Jag" — which ran on both NBC and CBS — and ABC dramedy "The Commish."

Considered a limited run series, "Live Another Day" will consist of 12 episodes.

During the network's upfront presentation in May, Fox entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly said it will feature only the most eventful hours in a new Jack Bauer adventure.

Fox plans to use "24" to help launch another limited-run series, M. Night Shyamalan's "Wayward Pines."
