Alice’s Own Copy of ‘Through the Looking Glass’ for Sale

Auction house estimates “Alice in Wonderland” sequel will sell for $150,000.

A copy of the book "Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There" that belonged to Alice Liddell, the girl who inspired author Lewis Carroll’s "Alice in Wonderland," will be sold at an auction next month.

Profiles in History said the book, which goes under the hammer at its Dec. 16 auction, comes from the collection of former U.S. professional football player Pat McInally. It has an estimated sales price of $150,000.
